This Cookie Policy explains how newsgigas.com may use cookies and similar technologies. It should be read with the Privacy Policy. The site is designed to minimise unnecessary tracking and to separate essential functions from optional measurement or advertising technologies.
A cookie is a small text record a website asks a browser to store. It can remember a session, preference or identifier for a defined period. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels and software-development tools that perform related functions. Not every request log or cached file is a cookie.
Essential cookies support functions that are reasonably necessary to operate or secure the website. WordPress uses authentication and settings cookies for logged-in administrators. Security, load-balancing or content-delivery systems may use short-lived identifiers to prevent abuse, route traffic or maintain reliable service. Those tools should be disclosed when introduced, and non-essential personalised advertising should not be treated as strictly necessary.

Newsgigas should prefer privacy-conscious settings, click-to-load patterns or ordinary links when those choices provide a reasonable experience.

Ordinary public readers should not be required to log in. Hosting and security logs are addressed in the Privacy Policy even when they do not depend on browser cookies.

Regardless of a signal, the publication should not use sensitive personal data for hidden behavioural profiling.

Vendor documentation may provide additional technical detail but does not replace Newsgigas’s responsibility to describe its own use.
